I'm not sure which type of Drag Box I need; can you help?

Yes - If you have an excavator up to 13 tonnes, you'll need our Midi Drag Box. For 13-22 tonnes, select our High Clearance Drag Box. For 13-50 tonnes, choose our Drag Box.

I need to lay large diameter pipes on a project and need a lot more area under the strut. What should I do?

Fixed Struts and Hog Back Struts are used solely with our Drag Boxes. The robust design of the Fixed Strut is able withstand the pressure applied by the excavator when the box is dragged and they are available in a range of lengths to suit working widths from 700mm to 3 metres. The Hog Back Strut provides extra distance below it, ideal for larger diameter pipes or applications where extra clearance is required.

I need to generate a temporary works design for my project. Can you help?

Yes, we have a dedicated Shoring Design Service offering three types of temporary works designs; 01 standard - for general site conditions, 02 standard + check certificate – for verification that soils are suitable with a standard drawing. 03 bespoke – for projects requiring a unique design that covers all aspects.
