GETTING SET-UP

THE SYSTEM

Conquip's Compact Concrete Washout Unit is is a closed-loop system that captures concrete waste and treats the wastewater with pH neutraliser solution, so it can be stored and reused or safely disposed on-site while remaining compliant with environmental regulations, including RPS 287.

Primarily for cleaning concrete truck chutes, it can also be used to wash smaller tools, equipment, attachments and other accessories used for concrete pouring.

AFTER USE

Concrete waste management, simplified

The Compact Concrete Washout Unit collects solid aggregate and wastewater during washout. The wastewater is pumped into the water storage tank where it can be treated with pH neutraliser additive and tested to ensure it is safe to store or reuse for other water-based applications in-site.

Once dry, the solid aggregate captured in the filtration bags can be disposed of following the correct environmental guidance. The disposal of any concrete waste is the contractor's responsibility and should be carried out in line with the necessary environmental regulations.
