Dust Control Unit

The Conquip Dust Control Unit is a versatile, stand-alone solution that can be used as a water dispenser and for dust suppression.

A high-pressure performance petrol pump is connected to a 1000-litre intermediate bulk container (IBC), providing water into a hose reel for a directional flow or a sprinkler system.

The unit can be transported around site on a telehandler or on the back of a truck using the sprinkler system to suppress dust, or it can be moved to any location on-site to function as a water source for cleaning equipment or other uses.

How is this unit powered?

The pump, which provides a pressurised water source, is powered by a petrol motor, so the unit is not reliant on mains power or a generator.

Is there a misting element or hose on this unit?

There’s both. The mister is used for dust suppression and the hose for damping down stockpiles, cleaning equipment or other water dispensing applications. We always recommend using either the hose or the mister for best results, not both simultaneously.

I don’t need a pressurised water source. What’s the alternative?

We recommend you chose our IBC and add the optional extra of a drip-fed spray bar.

How do you secure the unit for dust suppression?

For forklifts and telehandlers, heel pins are provided. If using on the back of a truck, ratchet straps can be used.

We always enjoy a good experience working with Conquip, as we have a wide range of their site organisation and waste equipment on many of our sites. Plus the team also provides us with on-site LOLER inspections and other maintenance to equipment. We recently took delivery of their Dust Control Unit - it's really great as a transportable source of non-mains water - anywhere. It gives us easy availability of non-mains water for a variety of uses around site and we can use it at key times of the year for pressurised water spray and dust suppression. It's a fantastic product - there's nothing else like it available.
