Excavator Drag Skip

A large, flat based skip, dragged across site by an excavator.

The Conquip Excavator Drag Skip has been designed to be dragged across site by an excavator. Sometimes referred to as a stone-saver or shingle bin, this heavy duty, flat based skip is used to transport shingle, sand, dry mix concrete, any saved material for back-fill, stone and many other bulk aggregates.

Ideal for bedding concrete pipes on deep drainage applications or backfilling utility installations, the Excavator Drag Skip reduces material wastage and eliminates typical wear and damage to dump trucks.

The range of skips consists of three size options varying in holding capacities of 4500, 7500 and 9500 litres.

  • By preventing material wastage on the ground, the Drag Skip has saved groundworks contractors up to 3/4 cube of material wastage per load.
  • Allows material to be accessed by excavators in areas that are unreachable for dump trucks.
  • Improves productivity on-site by reducing the need to track back and forth from stockpiles.
  • Durable design with reinforced drag bar and thicker plate on the base and the sloping edge for additional strength and longevity.
  • Crane lift points on each side of the Excavator Drag Skip allow for easy unload and movement around larger sites, when the skip is unladen.
