The Conquip Excavator Drag Skip is a heavy-duty, flat-based skip designed to be dragged across site by an excavator.

Also known as a ‘stone-saver’ or ‘shingle bin’, it’s ideal for transporting bulk materials such as shingle, sand, dry mix concrete, backfill, stone, and other aggregates. Built for durability and efficiency in demanding site conditions.

Crane lift points on each side of the Excavator Drag Skip allow for easy unload and movement around larger sites, when the skip is unladen.

What volume of material could I save?

We typically see that contractors save 5% or ¾ of a cube of all loose material per load. But there are other savings associated with using the Drag Skip, as there’s no need to hire a dumper along with the operator and fuel. Plus, it reduces excavator fuel and downtime tracking back and forth from stockpiles.

How can I move this skip around a site when it’s empty?

It has four crane lift points for ease of movement on larger sites.

How much material can I drag around?

Anywhere from 4500 litres to 9500 litres, depending on which size of skip you choose.

[The Excavation Drag Skips are..] Brilliant things, with other firms I've had old waste type skips with beam cross bars welded on to drag them around. These are much better than beating a dumper to death.
