Crane Forks Cage

The Conquip Crane Forks Cage is an industry approved, fail-safe method for lifting pallets of blocks and bricks around site.

The concept was designed in conjunction with leading UK contractors and lifting personnel following a lot of near-misses and accidents where Crane Forks were used with a net. See how our Crane Forks Cage was used as best practice on the Northern Line extension project.

Description

FEATURES

  • Large internal area (1200mm length x 1300mm width) to suit all common pallet sizes.
  • Lightweight to ensure the cage, plus a pallet of bricks or block packs, remains within the Working Load Limit of the Crane Forks.
  • Robust latch mechanism prevents door opening after it has been shut.
  • Ramped access allows the cage to be unloaded by a pallet truck on a scaffold loading bay, a CantiDeck, or anywhere with reduced ceiling height.
  • Gate access provides easy unload with Conquip Crane Forks.
