The Conquip Concrete Skip Without Bale Arm — also known as a Tremie Skip — is a versatile, all-purpose skip ideal for pouring concrete into columns, walls, and narrow formwork. Available in sizes ranging from 500 to 4000 litres and with attachments that improve safer pouring available.

FEATURES

Provided with a 3-metre length of reinforced rubber discharge hose and pull rope for pouring concrete.
Deflector plate prevents concrete splashing personnel or contaminating the ground below when the flow gate opens and closes.
Grout tray collects any excess concrete during flow gate operation.
Robust design to ensure durability on construction sites.
A strong spring retractor ensures automatic closing of the discharge gate when pouring is complete.

02. Hose Guide: Allows operatives to position the hose during a pour without being stood underneath the skip.
03. Bauer Connection: Quick-release system for switching between different hose lengths without needing to tamper with hose clips and refit hoses.
Blowout Attachment available for clearing concrete lines into the skip after use, minimising concrete waste and improving project sustainability.

How is this skip attached to a crane?

With a two-leg chain sling attached to a master link and the lifting points on the sides of the skip.

What sizes of skip can I buy?

We stock skips in capacities ranging from 500 litres to 4000 litres.

What length of hose comes with the Concrete Skip?

A 3-metre length of hose comes as standard with every skip, but larger sizes can be purchased on request.

What optional extras can I add?

A range of customisations are available, including recently developed modifications that improve safety on-site: an Extended Flow Gate Handle and a Hose Guide, which keeps operatives away from the danger zone under the skip, a Bauer Connection for switching between hose lengths and a Blowout Attachment for clearing concrete pump lines. The new 2000 litre Skip that we have on hire from yourselves is much safer than ones I have used/seen previously as it doesn’t have the large swing arm (Bale Arm) that could potentially fall on to somebody.
