What type of Trench Box do I need for my project?

It depends on the trench depth you require and the machinery available. For excavators up to 9 tonnes, you’ll need our Backhoe Trench Box. For shallow trenches or those no deeper than 4 metres, our Lightweight or Mini Trench Boxes will suit; these are compatible with 13-22 tonne excavators. Deeper drainage applications will benefit from our standard Trench Box, able to support depths of 5 metres and compatible with 13-50-tonne excavators.

I am laying large-diameter pipe sections and need a lot of clearance under the strut; do you offer a solution?

Yes, our High Clearance Struts are specifically designed to provide greater distance from the base of the trench (2750mm) than our standard Incremental Struts (up to 1500mm), making them ideal for installing large concrete pipe sections.

I need to generate a temporary works design for my project. Can you help?

Yes, we have a dedicated Shoring Design Service offering three types of temporary works designs;
01. Standard – for general site conditions.
02. Standard + Check Certificate – for verification that soils are suitable with a standard drawing.
03. Bespoke – for projects requiring a unique design that covers all aspects.
