02/ Concrete Blowout

Concrete blowout is the process of using compressed water or air to drive a sponge ball, commonly referred to as a ‘pig’, through a mechanical pump line or a skip delivery hose to clear the build-up of concrete after a pour is complete.
When it comes to the end of pours with pumps, preventing both the build-up of dried concrete and the wastage of excess concrete are essential for continued operational reliability and project cost-saving.

Concrete washout is the process of cleaning truck chutes, pumps, attachments and tools, used for concrete pouring and blowout, while containing the high-alkaline (over pH 12) wastewater for treatment and safe disposal or reuse, compliant to UK RPS 287.
