Concrete Coneflow Skip

The Conquip Concrete Coneflow Skip, sometimes known as a ‘banana skip’, is a cone-shaped skip for accurate pouring of concrete.

This skip is designed to lay down for quick and easy filling and hangs vertically during a pour, using the funnelled end to direct the concrete. It is supplied with a geared flow gate to control the speed and flow of the pour.

Why would I need this skip?

It’s perfect for pouring concrete as flooring, footings, shuttered areas, footpaths, embankments and for larger pours like slab areas.

Do I need a hose?

No, there’s no need for a hose to be fitted – just pour directly from the gate.

How do I use the skip?

The skip lies horizontal when it’s being filled, then is lifted to the vertical position with a crane or suitable lifting apparatus to operate it. The geared flow gate is used to control the flow of concrete and the funnelled end allows for an accurate pour.
