Rescue Cage

The Conquip Rescue Cage is a crane-lift frame predominately used for rescuing stranded personnel working at height. The inverted T-shape design allows the crane operator to position the cage underneath operatives suspended from a leading edge. It can also be used for other site-specific applications, such as carrying out maintenance work in hard-to-reach areas.

The cage has the capacity for four occupants (or three and a person on a stretcher) and features a designated harness point per occupant and a Square Hollow Section (SHS) for use as an Emergency Descent Point (EDP) in an evacuation.

It is manufactured with multiple safety features ensuring full compliance BS EN 14502-1:2010 and BS 8681-2024 standards, plus LOLER and PUWER regulations.
