Excavator Compaction Wheel

The Excavator Compaction Wheel is a high-performance attachment for compacting ground material, ideal for use in trenches, embankments, and other confined areas.

It reduces voids and increases soil density, improving load-bearing capacity for a stable and secure surface.

Unlike standard compaction plates or trench rollers, this attachment uses the excavator’s own weight to deliver more effective compaction — enhancing performance and efficiency on site.

FEATURES

  • Strong, compact design to handle regular use.
  • Surface area of the feet ensures compliance with highways standards and requirements.
  • A mud guard inside the drum prevents build-up of muck.
  • An integrated stand keeps the unit upright when not is use, and aids operator when attaching to excavator.

  • No motor or hydraulic connections required. More cost effective than hydraulic or remote control compaction equipment.
  • More sustainable than diesel fuelled trench rollers, compaction plates or vibratory tandem rollers.
  • Compaction plates and vibratory rollers need an operator, increasing fuel and personnel costs.
  • Stand ensures it is quick and simple to attach, reducing downtime.
  • Saves cost on hiring additional equipment: trench rollers and compaction plates.
  • Supplied with 65mm or 80mm pins for 13-22 tonne excavators.
  • Available with dumbbell pins and adaptor bracket kit for tilt rotator or S60 hitches.
