Conquip Held the Biggest Customer Event Yet - Stoke Open Day!
The event was held to mark the opening of the new depot in Stoke-on-Trent, giving us a great opportunity to introduce our Northern and Midlands customers to the full range of products Conquip can supply thanks to this breakthrough expansion.
The event took place mid-September 2019 and succeeded in attracting great names from the industry as well as in showing the potential the area holds for our future customer-focused activities. In the words of our Stoke-on-Trent Depot Manager Jon Bartley: “We are having our biggest to date open day so our customers can come along to see live demonstrations and brand new products.”

Excellent Feedback & Great Collaborations
The event was a great success in strengthening the awareness of the company expansion in the North and Midlands. It brought great opportunity not only to showcase the range and the new products, but also to collect valuable feedback from our customers, which will be vital for Conquip to succeed in becoming the #1 construction equipment supplier in the area.
We have partnered up with many local organisations such as Flannery Plant Hire, VWJ Earthmoving, OX Tools or Construction Plant News all playing a different but no less vital role in making the day a success.
New Products in Action
One of the main attractions surely were the first glimpses of the new products which we haven’t shown before.
The upgraded Powerbrush demonstrated the new electric-assisted spray and proved that it truly deserves to be named the best ‘clean sweep’ on the market catching the eye of all attendees.
Among the extensive range of excavator attachments, the new forks featured improved visibility and strength among other enhanced features and was thoroughly tested on the day by experienced excavator operator Lana Edwards.
According to Justin Hurst from A-Plant, the forks are “Absolutely superb product, I do think with a lot of our customers working in Civil Engineering, this would be a benefit. “
Equipment on Show
The event was packed with live demonstrations appreciated by our customers especially because, as Chris McGee from Bachy Soletanche said, “We don’t really get to see the equipment in use so it’s good for us to come out and see.”
We have demonstrated the Direct To Truck BulkX system with help of Earthmoving Ltd. Victoria Webb-Johnson has said: “We have been extremely happy to be partnering up with Conquip today and sending one of our 8 wheelers to demonstrate the new BulkX.”
Our quality range of services got a stage space as ‘before’ and ‘after refurbish’ products were showcased on the day.
